How can I tell if my furnace/boiler needs to be replaced?

- Current system more than 15 years old
- Humidity problems
- Unusual or loud noises
- Old ducts

Is there a difference between a furnace and a boiler?
Yes! While many people use the terms interchangeably, they are actually two different heating unit types. A furnace heats air, then a blower motor moves the warmed air through the home’s duct system to heat the house. A boiler heats water, which then flows through a network of pipes in the home.
